Partners for Justice

Partners for Justice is a national organization that trains and places non-attorney Advocates in Public Defender offices to help defense teams provide clients with case navigation and wraparound support. Partners for Justice selects recent college graduates to become Advocates and then trains them to support Public Defender clients and build a network of local services, community organizations, and civil attorneys to help clients reach their goals. The Santa Cruz County Public Defender has three Partners for Justice Advocates who work with our defense teams to provide exceptional, holistic defense.
