Caregivers and Families
Our defense teams are trained in the unique issues that women, caregivers, and families face in the criminal justice system. Conviction for a criminal offense can lead to incarceration, fines, fees, and a stigma that is difficult to shake. These burdens can fall particularly hard on women, caregivers, and their families, leading to broken homes, poverty, and upheaval. We work with our clients to understand how these issues are relevant to litigating their case so that we can better persuade juries and judges to reach favorable decisions, negotiate sensible resolutions, and structure sentences that promote better outcomes.
